Creating a new password

All our customers' Merchant panel passwords were reset on July 26, 2024, as a precaution because we detected that advanced phishing attempts were being made to misuse our customers' Merchant panel passwords. The information was shared in the Merchant panel bulletin

The next time you log in to the Merchant panel, you will need to reset your password according to the following instructions:

  1. Go to the login page of the Merchant panel and enter your username and password.
  2. You will see the following view:

  3. Type or copy/paste the verification code from the message to the login page.
    • We have sent you a verification code in a separate email. Check your email for a message with the subject line Vahvistuskoodi Paytrail-palveluun. The information is provided in Finnish, Swedish and then English. 
    • If the verification code you received via email has expired, press Resend Code -button.
  4. Enter a new password.
    • Note: The password must be at least 12 characters long and contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character. When finished, click Send.
  5. Log in with your email address and new password.

When resetting your password, you must also enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). See instructions.
