Resetting your password

Have you forgotten your password to the Merchant panel? Use these instructions to rest it.

  1. Go to the log in page of the Merchant panel and click the Forgot your password? link.
  2. Enter your email address. If a username is found for the email address, you will receive an email with a verification code that will allow you to create a new password.

  3. Check your email for a message with the subject line "Vahvistuskoodi Paytrail-palveluun". The information is provided in Finnish, Swedish and then English.
  4. Type or copy/paste the verification code from the message to the log in page, enter a new password and then click "Send".
    • Note: The password must be at least 12 characters long and contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one number and one special character. When finished, click Send.

  5. Log in with your email address and new password.
  6. If you have not setup Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) use these instructions. OR If you have already setup Two-Factor Authentication, open the authenticator app on your device to get the 2FA code and enter it and click "Confirm".

Note: If the 2FA code page is open for more than 15 minutes, it will say ‘Invalid session.’ Refreshing the login page will resolve this.
