If you see “Paytrail” on your bank or card statement, it means we’ve handled the payment on behalf of an online business where you made a purchase. For most bank payments you should see Paytrail Oyj followed by the online business' name.
Could this payment be from one of these?
Here are some common cases to help jog your memory 😊
-
Government services: Did you pay for a passport, ID card, or other municipal/state services?
→ These are often processed through the Police e-services. -
Business-related payments: Have you made changes to your business recently?
→ The Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) uses Paytrail (e.g. for company name changes or updates). - Digital content: Did you purchase ebooks, music, movies, or games?
- Travel arrangements: Did you book a hotel, rental car, or other travel service?
- Event tickets: Did you buy concert or event tickets?
- Charity or memberships: Did you donate or pay a membership fee?
- Family purchases: Have you shared your card details with a partner or family member?
- Email confirmations: Most purchases generate an order confirmation email—try searching your inbox (and junk folder) for messages around the time of the payment.
If you still don't know what the payment was for, feel free to contact us. When contacting us, please provide the following payment details:

What if the statement says Adyen, Holvi, or Nuvei?

If you see one of these on your statement, you can still contact us and we’ll help identify the business behind the charge. Please include:
