Finding your terminal ID and serial number on Nets SmartPOS

Each Nets SmartPOS terminal includes a unique Terminal ID (TID) and serial number. The TID is used in payment systems to process and track transactions, while the serial number identifies the physical device. Knowing where to find these identifiers helps with troubleshooting, support requests, device management, and merchant account tasks, ensuring smooth operation of your Nets SmartPOS terminal.

Find your Terminal ID

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Select Payments
  3. The Terminal ID is shown on the TID line

Find your Serial Number

  • Look for a sticker attached to the device with the serial number, starting with SN
  • On SmartPOS terminals, the sticker is on the product label on the back of the device

When these numbers are needed

You may need the Terminal ID or serial number when contacting customer service, updating your agreement, or troubleshooting issues with your terminal.
