What is OP Lasku (Invoice)?

OP Laksu (Invoice) is a flexible, reliable and secure payment method. OP Laksu (Invoice) is suitable for customers of all banks, enables payment by invoice or in installments.

OP Lasku (Invoice) in a nutshell

  • Suitable for financing online purchases up to 5,000 euros.
  • Suitable for all consumers, it's bank independent.
  • Offers a 45-day interest-free payment period and the option to pay in installments.
  • For the consumer, the service is safe with reasonable fees: there are no hidden costs.
  • For the merchant, the payment method is safe. The merchant receives the money of the purchase with the normal settlement delay. OP takes care of invoices and installment invoices.

OP Lasku (Invoice) fees

  • The consumer will have to pay an account management fee of 2,95€. If they receives several invoices in the same month, the account management fee will only be charged once. The account management fee is not charged when the product is not in use.
  • When paying in installments, the annual interest rate is 19.50%.
  • The fees for the merchant are according to Paytrail's price list.

How to get OP Lasku (Invoice)

OP Lasku (invoice) can be activated from the Payment methods section of the Merchant panel.

  1. Log in to the Merchant Panel with your username.
  2. From the front page, select Payment methods.
  3. Scroll down until you see Invoice and installments payment method section and toggle to activate OP Lasku (Invoice).

Making a refund for a purchase paid with OP Lasku (Invoice)

If you need to make a refund for a purchase paid with OP Lasku (Invoice), do it through the Merchant panel. This way the refund is made to the financial service and at the same time credited to the consumer's invoice.

To make a refund: 

  1. Log in to the Merchant Panel with your username.
  2. From the front page, select Payment methods.
  3. Search for the payment in question by name, date or amount. See more detailed instructions on searching for payments.
  4. Click the payment to open and scroll down to "Order details and refunds"
  5. Enter the amount to be refunded in the field, add an internal comment if necessary and click "Refund".

How it works for the consumer

When the consumer wants to pay with OP Lasku (Invoice), they select it from the available payment methods in the checkout of your online store. The credit decision comes immediately, and the consumer can decide later whether to pay the amount in full or in installments.

Good to know about OP Lasku (Invoice)

  • To use the payment method, you must be over 20 years old, have the ability to pay, and have a Finnish online bank credentials.
  • The credit decision is based on an overall assessment of solvency. That's why income and debts are requested and credit information is checked.
  • OP Lasku (Invoice) offers 45 days interest-free payment period and the option to pay in installments. An account management fee of 2,95€ is added to the invoice. When paying in installments the annual interest is 19.50%. If the consumer pays the minimum amount of the invoice, it automatically switches to installments.
  • OP Lasku (Invoice) helps the consumer stay on top of the situation: invoices are sent by email and reminders by text message. An online service is also available (in Finnish).
