The PayPal payment method is technically integrated into Paytrail’s system. To use the PayPal payment method, your company must have a PayPal business account. If your company does not have a PayPal business account, you can create one on PayPal’s website. At the end of this article, you will also find instructions on how to create a PayPal business account.
Creating a PayPal business account is free. PayPal charges for successful transactions according to its price list. Paytrail charges a processing fee for PayPal payments in accordance with Paytrail's price list.
Connecting a PayPal business account to Paytrail’s system:
- Once the PayPal business account is created, log in to the Merchant panel and click “Payment methods” -> “Connect PayPal account”.
- In the window that opens, enter the email address associated with your company’s PayPal business account in the email field.
- The Merchant panel directs you to log in to PayPal’s website, where the connection of the PayPal account to Paytrail’s system must be confirmed.
- Once the PayPal account is connected to Paytrail’s service, toggle the status to active.
