Walley

Walley offers your customers the option to pay only after the products have been delivered, which can be crucial in making a purchasing decision. Similarly, knowing that payments can be made in installments creates a sense of security and flexibility. For merchants, this also brings numerous benefits:

  • Increase conversion rates
  • Enhance customer loyalty
  • Fast payment without credit risk

Norion Bank AB is the credit provider and owns the Walley brand.

Settlements: Funds from orders made through Walley are settled in full according to the applicable settlement cycle.
Merchant fees: As per Paytrail’s pricing list.

Walley Erämaksu (installment payment)
With installment payments, the invoice can be divided into equal installments over a period of 3 to 36 months. Walley handles installment and reminder invoices and assumes the credit risk if the customer does not pay.

Walley ”Maksa omaan tahtiin” -tili (“Pay at your own pace” account)
With the account, multiple Paytrail purchases can be combined, and there is the option to pay in full or in installments. Walley handles installment and reminder invoices and assumes the credit risk if the customer does not pay.

2. Walley makes a credit decision for the customer at the time of the order. Walley performs a check in the Positive Credit Register before entering into a credit agreement with the customer. The Positive Credit Register is maintained by the Finnish Tax Administration and contains records of credit granted to consumers.

3. You can send the order to the customer as soon as they receive an approved credit decision, at which point the order will appear as “Paid” in the Merchant panel. Please note the instructions provided under fraud guarantee regarding order delivery.

4. If the customer cancels their order partially or entirely, changes to the invoice must be made as soon as possible via the Merchant panel. You can remove invoice lines, issue a partial refund for the desired amount, or cancel the invoice entirely. If the order is returned as uncollected, changes or cancellations to the invoice must also be made promptly. See detailed instructions on making refunds.

Promptly canceling or adjusting the invoice after an order is returned prevents additional fees from accumulating. Please note that the refund information will be updated on the customer’s Walley invoice only after the refunded amount has been deducted from your settlements. In case of a dispute, any accrued fees may remain the merchant’s responsibility if the cancellation is not properly handled.
