Paytrail's payment service is easy and fast to start using.
As a customer of Paytrail, you can choose the most suitable pricing packages for your business:
- The S-Package is a starter package aimed at startups or small entrepreneurs, where the monthly fee is 14,90€/month + VAT and transaction fees are 0,50€ + 3,25% commission per transaction.
- The M-package is suitable for businesses with larger volumes. The monthly fee is 59€/month + VAT and transaction fees start at 0,50€/per transaction.
You can find detailed pricing info on our website. Note: Your pricing package effects the settlement cycle.
You can change your pricing package once every 12 months by contacting customer service. Changes take effect at the start of the next month after confirmation.
Before signing up for our service
You can test our payment service in your online business before signing an agreement. Payments made using test credentials will not be processed.
To test the payment service, the test credentials below should be placed in the payment settings of your e-commerce platform. Check the compatible platforms for our service. If necessary, ask the technical partner of your online business for assistance.

With test credentials, you can test most of the payment methods included in our payment service. See payment method specific credentials needed for testing.
After signing up for our service
Test your online store’s checkout flow and the visibility of payment methods by making test orders.
To test without making real payments, use use the test credentials found above.
Filling out the sign up form is not yet binding. The agreement will not enter into force until you have signed the agreement.
Note: If your e-commerce platform provider signed up for the service on your behalf, go to step 2.
- Fill out the sign up form on our website. Once completed, you'll receive Merchant panel credentials via email.

- You have received log in instructions via email. If needed, you can request a new password.
Note: The security of our merchants is of utmost importance to us. For this reason we use two-factor authentication as part of the log in process, which is done through a separate authenticator app. See instructions.

- Check that the business ID, company name, marketing name and address info are correct.
- Select your type of business and the language you wish to communicate in.
- Make sure that the URL address of your online store/service/app/website pre-filled correctly from the sign up form.

- Please fill in the information of all necessary persons and possible owner companies. See definitions on who qualifies as a beneficiary.
- If applicable, fill in the information about any politically exposed persons (PEP), i.e. a natural person who is or who has been entrusted with prominent public functions.

- Fill in one or more contact details and choose the contact type (customer service, business, administrator and technical).

Fill in the invoicing information: invoicing email, invoicing address, invoicing postal code, invoicing city, invoicing country, company name on the invoice, invoicing contact person and invoicing phone number.

Bank account number for settlements
- Enter the company bank account number in IBAN format and BIC. This is the account we pay settlements to (payments made by your customers).

Sign agreement
- The agreement must be signed via the Merchant panel. Send an invitation to the individual with authorization to sign on behalf of the company to electronically sign the agreement. The individual will need to use their personal online bank credentials.

Sign agreement
- If no one in your company has Finnish bank credentials, then the agreement cannot be electronically signed via the Merchant panel. Instead, fill out the agreement and review our terms. Once filled out, print it and have the authorized signatory for the company physically sign it. We will also require a passport copy from authorized signatory and a bank statement in English that shows the account is in the company's name. Send these documents to support@paytrail.com
