Transferring funds to your merchant account

Here's how to transfer funds to your merchant account:

If you would like to transfer additional funds to your merchant account, to for example to make a refund, you can do so using the "Transfer funds" option in the Merchant panel.

  1. Log in to the Merchant panel and from the menu of the left, click "Transfer funds". 
  2. Enter the amount you want to transfer from your bank account to your merchant account and click "Pay".  Please keep in mind the following:
    • Transferring funds requires the user to have the ‘Manage payments’ role.
    • The transfer can be made as an online bank payment via one of the following Finnish banks: OP, Nordea, Danske Bank, S-Pankki, POP Pankki, Oma SP, Aktia, Handelsbanken, Säästöpankki, and Ålandsbanken.
    • The money is transferred to the balance of your merchant account in real time.

If the refund has not been made before the next settlement, the money transferred to the merchant account will be paid out to you with the settlement.

Note: If you are a Danske Bank customer and wish to transfer funds from a business account, please ensure that the default role is not set to personal account access. You can change the role if needed from the top menu of your online banking. By disabling the default selection for personal account access, you will be able to choose between personal and business accounts when transferring funds. By selecting the business account, the transfer from the business account will be successful.
