Reset forgotten password

Learn how to reset a forgotten password for the Merchant panel. You can request a verification code by email and create a new password that meets Paytrail’s security standards. You will also find troubleshooting tips for common issues, such as missing verification emails or invalid session errors.

Step by step: Reset your password

  1. Go to the Merchant panel login page and click Forgot your password?
  2. Enter your email address. If a user account exists for that email, you will receive an email with the subject Vahvistuskoodi Paytrail-palveluun, which includes a verification code to set a new password.
  3. Enter or copy the verification code from the email into the login page.
  4. Create a new password.

Your new password must be at least 12 characters long and include at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter (letters A to Z), one number, and one special character.

  1. Click Submit. You can now sign in using your new password.

Frequently asked questions

I haven't received the verification code by email

If the verification code has not arrived within about 15 minutes, click Resend code. Also check your spam or junk folder in case the message was filtered there.

I get an Invalid session message on the login page

If the login page stays open for more than 15 minutes, you will see an Invalid session error. Refresh the login page and try again.
