Understanding settlements and how to make changes to settlement cycle

We pay out settlements to your company’s bank account either daily (M package) or weekly (S package), depending on your selected pricing package. This is called the settlement cycle

The settlement delay is how many days it takes for the settlement to go from Paytrail's customer reserve account to your company's bank account.

With daily settlements, the settlement delay is typically 3 banking days.

Check your settlement cycle and payout delay

Follow these steps to view your current settlement information:

1. Log in to the Merchant panel
2. From the left-hand menu, select to Settings
3. Open the Settlement settings section
4. There you’ll see your current settlement cycle and payout delay

Settlement cycle options

Depending on your service package, it is possible to choose the settlement cycle from these options:

Settlement frequency When settlement is created
Weekdays Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
Three times a week Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Twice a week Monday and Thursday
Weekly Monday
Monthly the 1st of the following month
Twice a month the 1st and 15th of the month
